Charlie is a director/producer working predominately within the music industry making documentaries, music promos and live performance films.
His recent work includes directing the acclaimed feature length documentary for Liam Gallagher, 'As It Was'. Other recent work includes a bespoke feature length documentary series on the biggest artists in the world for Universal Pictures, with Noel Gallagher and Nile Rodgers. It's currently airing on Netflix with some exciting names to be added to the series.
As well as making an ongoing feature documentary on Paul McCartney who Charlie has collaborated with over the last 10 years, with a release date planned for next year. He has made films for artists such as Ronnie Wood, Robbie Williams, Bjork, Black Sabbath, Jamiroquai, Jack Bugg, Kasabian, to name a few.
His last motion picture, 121212 which stared McCartney, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Springsteen, Roger Waters, etc which he made with the Weinstein company and Paul McCartney. This was his first theatrical release in the US to great critical success. He also Produced the live 121212 concert, which had a global audience.
Charlies strength has always been gaining the trust of mega stars and for them to let him into their personal and professional world. His journey has come full circle with his relationship and collaborations with Liam Gallagher. "I always knew that there was more for Liam to give, so happy that he's back where he belongs.
